Hi and Welcome to Create with Victoria Lynn
I’m really glad you’re here.
Create with Victoria Lynn is a space where faith and creativity live side by side. It’s a quiet corner for people who need a pause, a little beauty, and something meaningful to do with their hands and heart. Here you’ll see crochet, Bible study and Bible art journaling, coloring, and some fun artsy stuff, such as diamond art — simple, honest ways to slow down and make something that feels good to you and may bless others..
You don’t need to be an expert or have everything figured out. If you’re just starting, starting over, or picking up something you used to love, this is a place where you can ease back into creating at your own pace.
As you look around, you’ll find ideas, projects, and faith-filled inspiration meant to encourage you to try, to learn, and to enjoy the process — not rush through it. If you ever stumble along the way or feel unsure about what to do next, you’ll find different ways to contact me in the footer below. And if you’re not ready to reach out yet, you are still very welcome to simply browse this page and explore the rest of the site.
Over the years, I’ve taught art in the public school system and have spent quiet time in Bible study and on my own creative projects. Along the way, I discovered that even a few minutes with Scripture, yarn, paper, or color could help me breathe, reset, and grow. Create with Victoria Lynn was created to share some of what has helped me and to begin building a work-from-home path for the future.
For those who’d like to know more, the About Me page is available anytime.
🧶 Crochet
The Art of Crochet: Learn, Create, and Be Inspired
Crochet is one of the ways I bring fiber arts to life—a hands-on rhythm of yarn and hook where simple stitches turn into pieces that can be used, gifted, and enjoyed. Blankets, dolls, garments, and wall hangings all grow from that motion.
On the Crochet Projects page, you’ll find some of those pieces gathered in one place—finished work, works in progress, and ideas you can adapt for your own style.
Projects may include:
• Dolls and keepsakes
• Amigurumi and small figures
• Kitchen pieces like potholders and trivets
• Cozy blankets and simple garments
• Other handmade creations as this space continues to grow
Alongside certain projects, you may also see a little extra support: a blog post that goes a bit deeper, a short video or quick lesson, a note pulled from the newsletter archives, or a pattern you can download. As the collection grows, there may also be opportunities for project-based guidance and select handmade pieces available to bring home.
✝️ Bible Study & Journaling
Faith Journeys: Bible Study and Bible Art Journaling
Here, you may not only spend time studying Scripture, but also explore creative art techniques—such as ink drawing, watercolor, lettering, and simple margin art—as a way to bring the Word to life on the page in a personal way.
You may find:
- Bible art journaling projects introduced one page at a time
- Devotionals and Scripture reflections
- Traditional Bible study without art for those who prefer it
- Examples of journaling pages, notes, and faith-based artwork
- Ways to connect Scripture with everyday life in meaningful, practical ways
You’re welcome to come as you are—whether you’re studying deeply, journaling creatively, or simply sitting quietly with the Word. This is a place for learning, growing, and drawing closer to God in a personal way.
If you ever feel unsure where to begin, want guidance with a project, or have questions about what you see here, you can connect with me using the contact information in the footer.
🎨 Coloring
Coloring with Victoria Lynn: Relax, Learn, and Play with Color
Coloring is a joyful, creative outlet and one of the simplest ways I slow my mind and reset. A page, some color, and a few quiet minutes can gently shift the tone of an entire day, whether you’re coloring for fun, to unwind, or as part of your faith journey.
Here, you’ll learn how to choose colors that work well together, blend for soft or bold effects, explore textures, and bring your pages to life. We’ll explore colored pencils, markers, and water-soluble media (such as watercolor pencils, Neo Colors, and pastels), and some projects may connect with Bible journaling and other creative faith expressions.
In this area, you may find:
- Guided coloring projects you can follow step by step
- Simple color theory tips for matching, blending, and shading
- Water-soluble media projects where appropriate
- Creative coloring ideas for relaxation and quiet reflection
- Occasional faith-focused or scripture-inspired coloring pages as they become available
Sometimes the simplest creative acts are the most grounding. You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy coloring here—you just need a page, a few colors, and a little time for yourself.
If you have questions about how to begin, how to choose colors, or how coloring might fit into your own creative or faith journey, I’d be glad to help you get started. When you’re ready, you can reach out through any of the contact options listed in the footer.
