Hi, I’m Victoria Lynn. I’m a licensed K–12 art teacher and a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT). Like other teachers, I’m always creating new lessons that engage and inspire a variety of students. I enjoy helping people learn in a way that feels encouraging and doable, not intimidating.

I love creativity in many forms, especially Zentangle, crochet, and coloring. Sometimes creativity needs to be quiet and simple, especially when life is busy. My hope is that this site feels like a place where you can learn, try something new, and enjoy the process.

With crochet, I’m always learning new stitches and different ways to apply them. I really enjoy taking what I learn and turning it into something new, especially when that leads to designing my own patterns. I may share parts of the process as I go, but my original crochet patterns are for sale. You’ll also find images of crochet projects I’ve completed, and sometimes finished items may be available for purchase.

In the coloring area, you’ll see me try new products and brands as I learn and experiment. I’m not here to do product reviews, but I will share what I’m doing as I test things out and learn how different tools and supplies work. A lot of this comes down to art skills like shading, contrast, textures, and patterns, and sometimes it may include watercolors, pen and ink, and mixed media.

Bible art journaling is a passion of mine. I love to read and study God’s Word and create art that reflects what I have studied or want to remember. It’s so enjoyable for me to sit at the feet of Jesus and use the talents God has given me to express something from His Word. I also have the honor of sharing these experiences with you through blog posts and videos, and I’m hoping to create a Patreon account for those who are interested in supporting this art ministry.

I not only enjoy teaching art, I love to create my own and learn from others. My challenge is finding the time to create art outside of work, and I think that might be the case for many people who work. All of what I have shared here has been a dream of mine for several years. The content may not be fast and furious, but I intend to enjoy this journey. I hope you enjoy it with me!
